Here's what you need to know....
We exist to be a blessing to the youth in this community. Being a teenager can be really difficult, but we want to provide a safe place for them, to give them positive role models that will inspire and encourage them to make better choices for their lives. As a team we make a commitment to these young people in prayer and have faith that we will introduce them to the God that we know and love through our relationships with them.
At UNIT4 we are equipped with various games/activities to entertain the youth that attend and have a great team of volunteers who make themselves available to build relationships and give them an extra dose of support.
What sort of time commitment does it take to be involved in UNIT4?
We try and have a larger group of volunteers and at the moment have 3 different churches involved which means we have a pretty flexible rota. You can be involved from every week to once a month. It is such a great opportunity for these young people to get to know the Christian community that's around them.
The first thing is you have to have is heart for youth and be able to see the best in them, be up for spending time with them and lastly you need to be up for having great fun with them
Second thing you need for UNIT4 is a disclosure check done through your own church.

My name is Lee-Anne MacLennan and I am the youth worker at The King's Fellowship in Smithton. I would love to catch up with you and answer any other questions you might have about this amazing ministry opportunity.
We encourage people to get involved in a Life Group, it's all about sharing Life with each other and not having to go it alone.
This helps group is designed to be available for anyone needing assistance with gardening, moving house and any other odd jobs they are unable to for themselves (eg illness, circumstances, age etc). It is a small group consisting of the Lilley family with help from the Dowling Life Group and others as and when.
A daytime opportunity for women to meet together to meet together to deepen our love, understanding and application of God's word in our lives... and along the way to make some fab friendships and have a lot of laughs!
Most of us have our children with us, so don't let that put you off. However, don't come expecting a peaceful time! God has blessed us though as we have sought to grow, whilst juggling our responsibilities as mum's of young children!
If you are wiling to help out with necessary jobs around the Factory then maybe you can help with maintaining our little garden at the front of the Factory and the grass around the our boundary fence?
