King's in Worship

joshOne of the difficulties in bringing new concepts concerning worship to people is the fact that the experience of worship is more often caught than taught. We often observe that when people are in an atmosphere of worship they see and begin to understand.

Corporate worship should come out of the overflow of a daily worship. Worship for David was a lifestyle and not just an event. It was a daily expression of his heart toward God. He was a worshipper in the congregation because he was a worshipper when he was alone. 2 Samuel 6: 12-19 – Learning to sing, give thanks, praise and worship in our own private times with Jesus is one key toward having good times of worship when we gather together.

Also, we are able to worship with great faith when we see and understand from God's word what we are free to express in worship. It is hard to raise our hands, sing, dance, shout, clap, etc. If we don't know what God thinks about it from His Word. Worship must be by faith, and faith comes from hearing God's Word.
